The Oregon State Department of
Human Services, Addictions and Mental Health Division (AMHD) and the Oregon Medical Assistance Program (OMAP) work together
to fund the Day Treatment Program. However, due to budget cuts this funding has become inadequate and we
currently rely on donations from board members, staff and private individuals to make up the difference. A
recent ratestudy of all such
programs revealed that this is a common problem for service providers. In addition, because state funding
for services such as day treatment is restricted to Oregon Health Plan (OHP) eligible children who meet strict eligibility
criteria, some children are unable to access treatment at all. Private insurance does not cover this type
of long-term intensive treatment and most parents cannot afford to pay the entire cost out-of-pocket.
In-Kind
Donations Your donation of craft items, paper, books, puzzles, games, and non-perishable
food items for children who forget their lunch are always appreciated.

Volunteer Opportunities
We are always seeking volunteers to work in the programs,
as well as for administrative and facilities maintenance tasks. Background checks are performed on all volunteers.
